As you might have realised, I've been working on a project called DeoxyriboNucleic Anarchy of late.. it features Mynk & Helix as well as a whole host of other characters... I've kept the plotline fairly vague up in my description on purpose cause ot has a lot of secrets & surprises along the way... but you an check out a bunch of the characters here...

The reason that I'm torn is that try as I may I can't shake the feeling that if I'm going to try and make a proper manga series then I owe it to Arador after all these years...
Arador is a story I came up with in about 2001 and out of all my stories, it's the one with the most staying power. I keep coming back to it over & over and unlike many other projects that I've had my fads with - it's always been there... artwork & such can be found here... [link]
So my question to everyone is - what should I do first?? I'm gonna pop a poll up & see what the majority say & if that sways my decision... so if you could PLEASE vote there...
basically you're choosing between...
Arador...
DNA...

I feel you should go with the one you're working on now. Arador characters are all very fleshed out, you have the character's story in your head, totally planned out to the finest detail.
With DNA, Helix, Mynk and the others, the characters are still in development. If you work on a manga with them you'll get to know them better in your head as you work on them and with them in the story... I think sticking to DNA at this point is the best thing you can do. And maybe, when DNA is done, you can give Arador a go, and try reinventing some of the characters there?
I can grow more with newer characters I guess... it's just Arador is like an old friend I don't want to lose...
Dear Lord I sound crazy!
The reason I say this is because in your mind the characters are already very matured, they've had adventures, had stories told about them, and done things that have changed the way you see them as their author. You'll find it very difficult to approach the story afresh and explain all its quirks to an audience if you try to resurrect the beginning of it now.
New work, when you start a new medium, is always worth the effort. Most importantly because you're experimenting with the whole deal; story, characters, art style and methodology. You're not trying to adapt one to another, therefore when you become frustrated or stuck you know it's possible to change it, rather than being caught up in a situation where you have to tell the story in a certain way and can't because your method or medium is being a bitch.
Meh, but that's just me
Arador is just so special to me I guess... and I don't feel as though I'd be starting over as it's been with me the whole time...
But I think I'll stick with DNA... its what brought me back so I'll go with it!
I'm really struggling with which is calling me though the poll results are making me feel a little better about DNA! X3 I was worried that I may have gone out of my depth with it - so I 'm shocked by it's support! :3
