title = Guns n Roses song that hasn't left my head since I started this picture Saturday afternoon!! rawr! >,<
ahem, so it's Erin for a change. This time it's more of an early picture of her. This is set just after she wakes up in the jungle! As I mentioned before, she wakes up and realizes she's all alone. Now being a Genome she's not really got a soul of her own (yet) and that attracts the heartless.I just thought it'd be neat to draw a picture of her being controlled.
The background kinda just happened... it's pretty busy but then it's a jungle after all... probably not enough different colours in there... but I didn't realise that til too late!
The bouncywild came out too orange... but never mind! Hope you like it!
Powerwild/Bouncywind/Kingdom hearts/FFIX/ Genomes (c) SquareSOFT - I miss the soft ._. Erin (c) me
Soulless!Erin looks awesome and creepy at the same time. I love glazed over eyes, they're so funky X3 I love the background and the heartless, too. The whole thing looks great! Makes me wish I could use traditional media
awee thanks so much! I'm glad you like her! I can't help but feel kinda bad for her in this though...
as for traditional media, all I can say is practice!! lol! About a year ago, I wouldn't touch traditional... I think I just got tired of Photoshop so gave something else a go!X3
Yeah, you do feel pretty bad for her at first, but none of the genomes had souls (except for the obvious exceptions), so it's pretty much an inevitability. I'm glad she perks up later tho' X3
How do you go about traditional art, anyway? Do you sketch it and ink straight on top of it, or scan it first incase you make a mistake? I'm always iffy about messing my sketches up And you use COPIC markers, too? How much do they cost?
Sorry about all the questions, I'm a n00b when it comes to traditional stuff XD
True, I guess she just landed in the wrong place at the wrong time! Lucky for her being hit by Kuja's Ultima beam helps her develop a soul of her own... somehow... hey Science and computer games should be kept apart!
Ahem... anyways... Very good question! I am the same as you! I'm petrified that I'll ruin a picture so I ALWAYS scan in the lineart, print it off then work on that. The printer ink doesn't bleed as much as my pigment liners either so it's a double win! X3
Leaves bottom left; awesome color/shading/whatever. I really like what you did with them. XD
Ah, and more Erin fanart. Somebody's got a fav subject as of late.

oops missed the last bit, I don't use copics, I use letraset! I think they're cheaper... but to be honest it's just cos they're the only ones I can find! Check out their website at [link] for the prices!
I use a mix of Pro markers and Tria markers. The Pro markers give an excellent solid colour and the Trias are great for shading! ^__^ but they're more expensive! >.< I have 2 sets in all. 1 set of pro markers "comic set 1" and the "Shonen" set of Tria Markers! X3 Hope that helps!
she seems to be my muse >.>;; But she's getting me out of my art block Yey! You like my leaves! I'm glad someone pointed those out! I had fun with them!
Thanks a lot ^^ I wasn't sure which ones you used Oooh, the prices don't look too bad. If I get a bit more money, I'll have to see if I can find some down Nottingham ^^
another ood way to get hold of some is to venture to one of the London or Telford (<-- go there I live there) expos and enter the Sweatdrop Studios art contests! ^__^ They usually give some away as prizes!
