The days before the Costume Ball flew by and in no time the night finally arrived. Zyla still hadn’t decided on what to dress up as. Raiki sat on her bed with a towel on her head and her dressing gown on. She was in no hurry to get ready so she picked up a book and began to read.
‘I could be a princess?’ Zyla suggested ‘What do you think?’ She pulled a long deep purple dress against herself.
‘Looks great.’ Raiki said not bothering to look up from her book.
‘Oh you’re in no position to tell me that!’ Zyla threw the dress to the floor. ‘Why aren’t you getting dressed?

Tadwin College for Creative Minds was a well known name to those that lived in or around Arador. It only admitted the most creative students as the name suggests. The age of students ranged from sixteen to nineteen. It was at this college that a young girl was to find out that college isn‘t just about learning…
Raiki Colt, a seventeen year old red-head, was starting her first day at the college. She was now a part of the campus in Arador, a place dominated by students. She had started a year late, transferred from a different college that she didn’t feel was challenging her enough.
