|A tribute to Iron Maiden's "The Trooper" with my Helix as Eddie |
My weekly webcomic over at d-n-a.smackjeeves.com - but also updated here on DA for your convieniance!
Comic con was amaaazing! I got to meet so many lovely people and spend lots of time catching up with people I'd met before! ;D You know who you are!
My Helix badges completely sold out - as did the big DNA promo poster, and Major Teddington on Canvas!
Anyways, as promised, I have put up DNA chapter two on my etsy store so please fell free to head on over! At the time of typing I also have one Helix Trooper print on canvas left! So if you've been eyeing that up I'd act fast
Chapter three is almost finished scripting - just got to go through a few iterations before I'm happy with it but I'm excited by it! You guys get to meet a new character who is shaping up to be rather fun!
I really can't express how much I'm enjoying working on this and meeting people who are enjoying it! I never thought I'd be able to take my work this far and it's thanks to the support I get from you guys that I've come as far as I have! So really - thank you so much! I do get rather mushy about it... Just ask ~RixieTheVamprycan about how I got goosebumps and welled up when she told me she's read chapter two the night she bought it and loved it!
I'm going to sign off now as I've not eaten yet (or got out of my pyjamas) and it's coming up 1pm! But seriously, a huge thank you and I'll see you soon!!

DNA - First HalloweenMynk sat quietly, watching as Raine carefully and painstakingly gathered the fabric for what would later form a petticoat to go beneath the dress Raine was making. The was situated on a nearby mannequin, pinned together for now as Raine still had to make a few adjustments for Mynk's comfort.
For the moment, Mynk was bemused to why Raine was making her more clothes. Raine had made her a whole wardrobe full of them, pretty dresses and blouses, leggings and sleeves. Mynk had more clothes than she knew what to do with and yet Raine had insisted she needed this one for a very specific purpose.
Something to do with the oddly carved pumpkin Len had placed outside of the house and nightly placed a tea light inside.
The fabric of the dress rustled as Raine hoisted it up to fit the petticoat around the bottom. Once the top fabric laid over the petticoat, it flared out nicely giving the dress an almost bell shape, instead of the skirt hanging rather sad and limp down towards the ground.
